We are delighted to announce a special concert hosted by Tapadum Ethnic Music Store, featuring our founder, the renowned musician Özgür Yalçın, alongside the talented harpist Marta Celli.
🎵 “Incantesimi”
Celtic Harp & Iranian Santur
A musical journey between the Celtic lands and Anatolia
"Incantesimi" ("Enchantments") is more than a concert—it’s the continuation of a collaboration that began nine years ago. This unique project brings together the delicate sound of the Celtic harp and the shimmering tones of the Iranian santur, weaving a tapestry of melodies rooted in ancient traditions and personal artistic journeys.
Özgür Yalçın, originally from Istanbul, is a composer, singer, guitarist, and the founder of the legendary group Karagüneş, active since 1997. A passionate ethnomusicologist, he has collected and arranged ancient folk songs from remote Anatolian and Kurdish villages, preserving musical heritage in Zazaki, Kurdish, Turkish, and Laz languages. With six albums to his name (one released by the iconic Kalan Music label), Özgür has also composed film soundtracks and performed in prestigious festivals across Turkey and Europe.
Marta Celli, born in Forlì, Italy, is both a musician and painter. In 2009, she co-founded the folk duo Alarc’h, performing in major Celtic and folk festivals across Europe. As a solo artist and collaborator, she has released five albums, blending Celtic roots with poetic sensitivity and innovative storytelling.
"Incantesimi" takes audiences on a cross-cultural journey, from the mystical landscapes of Scotland, Ireland, Britain, and Galicia, to the mountains and plains of Anatolia, featuring ancient Kurdish and Turkish ballads alongside original compositions by Özgür Yalçın.
