Ahmet Topan

Ahmet Topan is an İzmir master oud maker and co-founder of the Alto Müzik workshop, which he established in 1984 after an apprenticeship under Temel Şehit. Across four decades he has built throughout the oud family — Turkish, Arabic, and electric instruments — under the Alto name.

This collection brings together the Ahmet Topan ouds currently in our catalogue, spanning acoustic and electric models. Each instrument is individually inspected for tuning stability, soundboard response, action, and string spacing by our string instruments specialist Sertan Sarioglu before it ships from our Brisighella, Italy showroom.
