Materials & body
The shell is cut from resonant steel and hand-painted in a deep purple galaxy finish under a protective coating, so the colour stays vivid with very little care. No two surfaces are exactly alike — the cosmic wash shifts with the light.
The tongues & tuning
Ten tuned tongues are cut into the playing surface and voiced in D Kurd (D minor), a forgiving scale with no “wrong” notes — ideal for beginners and sound-healing work. Played with the mallets or bare fingers, each tongue gives a clean, sustained tone with a soft decay.
