Özgür Yalçın is the founder of Tapadum and a musician with nearly three decades of experience as a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist — including soundtracks for Turkish cinema, TRT productions, and hundreds of concerts with his band Kara Güneş. In 2021, he founded Tapadum to bring world music instruments from Turkish, Persian, Arabic, Greek, Bulgarian, and European traditions under one roof. He oversees the full instrument range across the Brisighella showroom and Izmir workshops, and co-founded LuwiPress, the WordPress platform built around the store’s needs.
