Description
The antique bronze steel tongue drum keeps things simple: a warm bronze finish, clean lines, no pattern. This 8-note steel tongue drum is tuned in D Kurd (D minor) — the gentle, meditative scale at the heart of the handpan world — in an understated, classic colourway.
Materials & body
The shell is cut from resonant steel and given a warm antique-bronze finish under a protective coating, so the surface keeps its glow with very little care. The plain, minimal face puts all the focus on the sound.
The tongues & tuning
Eight tuned tongues are cut into the playing surface and voiced in D Kurd (D minor), a forgiving scale with no “wrong” notes — ideal for beginners. The eight-note layout is simple to learn and easy to carry. Played with the mallets or bare fingers, each tongue gives a clean, sustained tone.
Finish & style
Where our other models carry an engraved symbol or a galaxy colour, this one is deliberately minimal — a warm, classic antique bronze that never dates. A natural choice for players who prefer understated design. Browse the other tongue drums for engraved and coloured options.
