Description

Materials & body
The shell is cut from resonant steel with a warm antique-bronze finish under a protective coating, so the surface keeps its glow with very little care. The yin yang and its mandala border are engraved into the metal itself — never a sticker or print — so the pattern will not peel or fade with playing.
The tongues & tuning
Eight tuned tongues are cut into the playing surface and voiced in D Kurd (D minor), a forgiving scale where there are no “wrong” notes — ideal for beginners and sound-healing work. The eight-note layout is wonderfully simple to learn and easy to carry. Play with the mallets or bare fingers for a clean, sustained tone.
